Candidate Guide
This page explains what candidates experience when they receive an Interview Edge invite link. You can share this with candidates before their interview.
No account needed
Candidates do not need to create an account or log in. The unique invite link is all they need.
Starting the interview
- Open the invite link (sent via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or QR code)
- The welcome screen shows:
- The job title and company name
- A brief description of what to expect
- Click Start Interview to begin
Answering questions
Questions are presented one at a time. For each question:
- Read the question carefully
- Type your answer in the text box
- Click Next to move to the following question
You can take as long as you need — there is no time limit per question.
Write your answers as you would speak in an interview. Be specific, use examples, and don't worry about perfect grammar.
Navigating questions
- Next — move forward
- Back — return to the previous question to edit your answer
- A progress indicator at the top shows which question you're on (e.g.
Question 3 of 5)
Submitting
After answering the final question:
- Review a summary of your answers (optional)
- Click Submit Interview
- You'll see a confirmation screen — the recruiter is notified automatically
Once you click Submit Interview, your answers are locked and cannot be changed.
Returning to an incomplete interview
If you close the browser before submitting, you can return using the same invite link. Your answers are saved locally — pick up where you left off.
Local save means answers are stored in your browser. If you switch devices or clear your browser data, you'll need to start again.

- Candidates are identified only by the name and email the recruiter provided when creating the invite
